The #YouthWagingPeace program, initially created by the UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP), in association with multiple partners, started with the development of a Youth-Led Guide on Preventing Violent Extremism through Education that presents reflections of the global youth and puts forth youth-centered recommendations for a wide range of stakeholders. The #YouthWagingPeace program is committed to Sustainable Goal 4 on Quality Education, target 7 in particular, to ensure that all learners acquire the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development.

Bridge 47 was created to bring people together to share and learn from each other. They mobilize civil society (NGOs) from all around the world to do their part in creating a more fair, peaceful and equitable world with the help of Global Citizenship Education. The project was funded by the European Union and ran from October 2017 until July 2021.
